Because of how the tree had to be set up, allow me to clarify something -- Peter was William's older brother, and Elaine is Nell's younger sister. Peter died shortly before Victor was born, and Nell more or less disowned her family upon marrying William, so Victor's never gotten to know his aunt and cousins.
